Plain-English summary
  • Once a video is generated and downloadable from your account, all sales are final. No refunds.
  • Free 14-day trial — no card charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time during the trial at no cost.
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable; cancel anytime to stop the next renewal.
  • SMS credits and other paid usage are non-refundable once consumed.
  • If a charge is genuinely a billing error, we'll fix it — see Section 6.
Important — No refunds on downloaded video assets. Once any video has been generated and made available to download in your MotionOptima account (whether you actually clicked download or not), the work product is considered fully delivered and accepted. You acknowledge and agree that the purchase price for that asset is final and non-refundable, regardless of whether you choose to use the asset, share it, or store it. This is presented at checkout and again before download begins.

1. What this policy covers

This Refund Policy explains when MotionOptima will and will not issue refunds for purchases made through motionoptima.com. By signing up or making a purchase, you agree to this Policy as part of our Terms of Service.

2. Free trial

New customers may start a free 14-day trial. No payment is taken during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, your selected plan begins at the end of the trial and your card is charged. The trial may be limited to one per business and may exclude certain premium features, video generation credits, or SMS overages — those are noted at signup.

3. Generated video assets — non-refundable once downloadable

The Service can generate video assets from your inputs (a "Generated Video"). A Generated Video is considered delivered the moment it becomes available to download from your account dashboard, share link, or API. From that moment forward:

  • The Generated Video is fully delivered and accepted.
  • The price paid for that Generated Video is final and non-refundable.
  • It does not matter whether you, your team, or your contractors actually clicked "download" — the ability to download is delivery.
  • Subsequent edits, re-renders, or new variations are separate purchases under the same rule.

Before any video render begins, you'll see a clear notice that "Once this video is generated and available to download, the purchase is final and non-refundable." You must acknowledge that notice before the render starts. By acknowledging, you agree that the digital product is being delivered to you immediately and that you are waiving any "cooling off" period that might otherwise apply to digital goods.

4. Subscriptions

  • Monthly and annual subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
  • You can cancel any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
  • Downgrading from a higher-tier plan does not generate a refund or credit; the lower price applies at the next renewal.
  • If you upgrade mid-cycle, we'll prorate the difference for the remainder of the current period.

5. SMS credits, message overages, and add-ons

  • SMS, MMS, and other messaging credits are non-refundable once purchased and consumed.
  • Unused credits expire as described at the time of purchase or in your plan terms.
  • One-time add-ons (e.g., onboarding, custom integrations) are non-refundable once work has begun.

6. Genuine billing errors

If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, a charge after a timely cancellation, or fraudulent use of your payment method — contact us within 30 days of the charge at [email protected]. Include the invoice number, the charge date, and a brief description. We'll review, and if we agree it was a billing error, we'll refund the affected amount to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Chargebacks are expensive and slow to resolve. If you initiate a chargeback for a charge that complies with these Terms (including this Refund Policy), we may suspend your account, recover any related costs, and decline future service.

8. Where law overrides this policy

Some jurisdictions provide consumers with non-waivable refund rights (for example, certain EU consumer protections). Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law. Where such a right exists for digital content, you agree that the digital content (including each Generated Video) begins delivery immediately upon confirmation, and you acknowledge that this delivery causes you to lose any otherwise applicable right of withdrawal.

9. Common scenarios — quick reference

10. Common questions

I generated a video but never clicked download — can I still get a refund?
No. Delivery happens when the video becomes available to download — not when you actually click "download." The asset is sitting in your account ready to use, so the work has been delivered.
What if the generated video has a defect or doesn't render correctly?
Email [email protected] with the asset URL and a description. If the file is genuinely broken or not playable, we'll re-render it at no cost. "I changed my mind" or "I want a different style" doesn't qualify — those are new purchases.
Can I get a partial refund if I cancel mid-month?
No. Subscriptions are non-refundable. You'll keep full access until the end of the current billing period and won't be billed again.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Sign in, go to Billing → Subscription, and click "Cancel." You'll get a confirmation email. If you can't find it, email [email protected].
